Cipinang Muara Targets to Complete 28 Infiltration Wells This Week

Construction of 28 infiltration wells in Cipinang Muara Urban Village area, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, which has been carried out since last month is targeted for completion this week.

This is one of the efforts to overcome flooding in our settlement area

Cipinang Muara Urban Village Head, Ciptono said that his party has a target to make 30 infiltration wells to support this year's construction of 2,000 infiltration wells in East Jakarta. It has full support from locals, thus what was built has exceeded the target

"This is one of the efforts to overcome flooding in our settlement area," he expressed, Monday (9/26).

Cijantung PPSU Builds 16 Infiltration Wells in East Jakarta

According to him, the work has involved around seven PPSU members plus a drilling machine. All the points of wells that were made were in the settlements of people who had lower plains.

"The depth of infiltration wells varies between 25 to 40 meters, depending on the contours of the soil," he stated.
